We believe that customer service is senior to our loan products. We are here to understand our client’s needs to help homeowners achieve their goals no matter their situation.

Our Company Culture

Because we are family-owned, we believe in treating our clients, team members, and other industry related businesses like family.

Ultimately, family members are there for each other in good times and in bad, are loyal, understanding, and compassionate, etc. Family can lift you up or bring you down. It is important to understand that families have assets and liabilities. If you’re intention is to become an asset in our company, we will want to maintain our relationship with you. Conversely, if you are concisely or unconsciously a liability, we will act upon such behavior and have no choice but to let you go.

The definition of family is a group of one or more living together as a unit. In fact, the word ‘family’ derives from Latin familia, which meant “household,” a designation that included both servants and relatives. Now, the term ‘servant’ may have a negative connotation. However, we do not intend for you to serve our company and be looked down upon. We mean the exact opposite. As a member of our company, we expect that you not only serve yourself but serve your family, too. And we will greatly recognize and reward you for taking such responsibility for your success.

  • Team goals related to loan volume, customer satisfaction, and other key areas.
  • Monitor performance against these metrics and provide feedback to help team members improve and adjust their strategies (also how well you make these improvements).
  • Recognizing and rewarding individual and team successes to maintain motivation, expansion, and build positivity.

Positions In Our Company

  • Loan Officers: These are the front-line reps who generate leads, qualify borrowers, and navigate the loan process. We want to hire personable individuals with strong communication and sales skills.
  • Processing Team: Efficient processors handle paperwork, manage documentation, and ensure loan applications meet lender requirements. We look for organized and detail-oriented individuals with strong computer skills.
  • Underwriting Support: Underwriters assess and approve loan applications.
  • Marketing and Administrative Staff: We are considering roles like marketing specialists, social media managers, and administrative assistants to support business growth and daily operations.

Our Company Needs

The stage of our business is 2 employees consisting of Chris and Julia Luis, brother and sister. Chris is a loan officer as well as the broker/owner and Julia is a loan officer. We have yet to breakthrough our first breakpoint. We are looking to expand our team starting with recruiting other loan officers. By the end of 2024, we intend of working with 12 LOs.

We offer conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, commercial, construction, and Non-QM Near-Prime loan products. Because we offer lower credit score requirements, we specialize in FHA loans. The minimum credit score to buy a home or refinance is 500. We have helped thousands of homeowners achieve their goals of homeownership even with less than perfect credit.

Our daily routine includes marketing and selling. In terms of marketing, we build content on webpages for our website to the public, social media, email drip campaigns, Google Ads, etc. Marketing is important to any business because most businesses deal with obscurity (the state of being unknown). Selling is crucial for any business, especially mortgage brokers. Becoming great at making money over the phone (closing) is a skill that can be learned when fully committed. As most of our business comes from referrals and past clients, we still make it a habit of cold calling leads.

Where our company needs the most support is in sales. We are searching for loan officers who have the ability to be great over the phone, communicate well with others, have a positive attitude, have a strong work ethic, can market themselves, and produce (close).

Preferably, we intend to hire and keep great people who work with us, who want to make money, and have fun while doing so. Just because we ‘want to have fun‘, doesn’t mean that we get to slack off on our job/responsibilities. Like the saying goes, work hard, play hard.
