Chris Luis was born and raised in Cliffside Park, NJ. Chris still resides in Cliffside Park today and graduated from Paramus Catholic Regional High School in 2001.

Chris began working in the mortgage industry as a senior in high school with his father, Rafael Luis. In 2004, Rafael Luis opened a broker office in Elmwood Park where Chris began his career as a mortgage loan officer (MLO).

The company was forced to shut down after the 2007-2009 financial housing crisis. Yet, Chris persevered and continued his career as a MLO.

After years of rebuilding, Rafael and Chris Luis opened Mortgage-World.com, LLC. Chris became the broker/owner of Mortgage-World.com in 2017 when the company was created.

Chris Luis believes that being independent is most important in life and in business. Therefore, Mortgage-World.com is a family-owned independent mortgage broker.

Chris is a son, brother, husband, and an owner of two huskies who is well known as someone who is kind, selfless, generous, helpful, and someone who knows how to be resourceful and bring value to others.
